Will Beaudry grew up reading Science Fiction and mystery novels. His favorite authors are Ian Fleming, Robert B. Parker, and Tom Clancy. He fell in love with storytelling in grade school while taking a creative writing class and has been writing short stories, poems, and songs ever since. Born into a family with strong military roots, Will enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard right out of High School, where he was stationed in Portland, Maine. Later in life, he re-enlisted in the Army National Guard, where he was assigned to a Public Affairs Detachment, which afforded him the opportunity to hone his writing skills as a journalist. He currently lives in Virginia with his wife, who shares his love of the outdoors. He is the lead instructor for a private security company, where he passes along his decades of knowledge in First Aid, Active Shooter Response, and fundamental law as mandated by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services.
