A brief synopsis of book 1:

Eevee thought she was human, until she read her adoption papers and learned her birth parents were fae. Clues left by her birth mother sent her on a quest through the fae realm to find her birth parents. With some help along the way from her old friends Cam and Maggie, plus her new friend (and fellow fae) Quince, Eevee explored a new world, the world of her birth parents, and learned more about herself along the way. However, her quest also attracted the attention of some powerful fae, including Nightglade, her birth mother's former husband and the King of the Unseelie Court.

With the help of her friends Quince, Cam, and Maggie, Evelyn “Eevee” Acker was finally ready to meet her birth parents, who, she’s recently discovered, are fae.

Instead, she has a choice to make: save her birth parents, who she's never met, and put herself and her loved ones in danger? Or leave her birth parents to their fate, accepting she’ll never have the answers she’s been searching for her whole life?
