This is a very captivating book that reminds me of the old cliche, “I could not lay it down”. Lots of interesting characters and twists and turns that captures your interest. Capturing the historical events of the period are along with the standard of living, economy and places is well researched. Bottom line…i enjoyed it from the beginning to the end.

Wow! I liked everything about this book. It incorporated the goodness of mankind at a time when we really need to hear that, and it repeatedly kept me attempting to guessing what was going to happen next. As I read the chapters in this book, I was certain I could guess exactly what would happen in the next chapter. Boy, was I wrong. Right to the last chapter, the author held my attention and surprised me. In my lifetime of reading (about 68 years) this is one the few books I just couldn't put down. There's humor mixed with mystery and payback for dastardly deeds. I've given two more of these books to friends and will purchase other books by this author. Outstanding job!!!

All Our Yesterdays combines fresh story telling with a nod to great popular literature of a bygone era. With a hint of Horatio Alger and unexpected turns worthy of O. Henry, the book whisks the reader along at just the right pace to a clever and surprisingly satisfying conclusion. You won't want to put this one down.

A quick read that takes the reader on an emotional roller coaster as the author, through his superb writing, switches from victim to villain among the characters. I was saddened by the Epilogue in that I was looking forward to a sequel. I highly recommend this book.
