I’m a massive fan of Hydrus and of his work. It captivates me in a way that has me breathing each and every page. He has a way of taking you on a journey into his world, tying in his Poems, Photographs and Art altogether. I sometimes read his work that’s so powerful that I stop close the book and drink his words in.

This book is highly evocative, stunningly presented and beautifully formatted.
I think the beauty of Hydrus’ poetry is that he brings out deep emotions and feelings, that are sometimes so hard to face, in brief words and imagery.
I feel that with ENDLOVE ENDPAIN I was really put in a place to experience and process pain, love, and healing. It was so easy to be transported into time and places where I could remember heartache, loss, missing someone, even missing myself. And then as the pages turned, reading started to feel intoxicating, sensual, loving, and healing.
It’s amazing that quickly reading his word you can remember words that have hurt you, loved you, made you sweat, or made you cry.
Some of my favorites:
The darkness in his words in Victim, was incredible. Our minds can be a trip, and that was gritty.
The longing expressed in Always, to be in touch so deeply with yourself to expose your vulnerability and sorrow.
Breakfast, Loops, and Play. It’s going to make you squirm. The language used to describe, to enhance, and excite, whewwww !
Found and Trust made me cry, I think I needed that cry (I know I did) that hope can shine through the cracks, and we can overcome.
ENDLOVE ENDPAIN is an intoxicating and beautiful experience that I highly recommend.
