The brood continues

This series has been an amazing read. The story jumps from one amazing adventure to another. Never boring. You keep wondering what is going to happen next. I had a difficult time closing the book to go to sleep at night. I love suspense, adventure and mystery all rolled up in one. This book kept me on the edge of my seat constantly.
I truly hope this author has another book in mind for this series. I will be waiting impatiently for this to happen and will be an impatient follower.

The Brood is the third book in The Descent series. It’s short and sweet, fast-paced, and a lot of fun.

This time, the gang is drawn to a laboratory complex in Belgium where a previous bad guy had shipped some bug eggs decades ago.

Of course, mayhem ensues.

The writing is solid third-person limited and past-tense, the story is organized in point of view chapters. Each one is short and sweet, and the pace is fast and intense. I had a great time because the story grabbed me right away, and this was a worthy extension to The Descent series.

I can hardly wait for the next adventure to come out! Highly recommended.

Great Series

I hope Mr. Pettry writes more books in this series. If he does, I will read them all. Exciting and scary.

This was a great series! Really fun as we see average people get pulled into this horror/adventure. The characters grow on you and the villains get evil-er. At the end there are some twists I did not see coming but made for a fun ending. I am glad I found this series and look forward to the author’s next books.
