Police partners for ten years, Maggie and Max respond to a bomb threat and find a child hiding inside a bus station locker. The case splits them up, as Maggie attempts to solve the mystery of who made the bomb and called it in, and Max tries to find the boy who left his little brother behind--all before Christmas, and before the case destroys the partnership that they both wish could be something more.
