Was it coincidence or luck that Mary’s Pen Pal just happens to be a grandson of the president of the United States? This new novel - Mary Crane and a Pompey Hollow Book Club Seance with Sherlock! - takes place about two weeks after that same Halloween. Farmer Parker sprains his back and the club goes help run his small farm while he convalesces. Little did they expect - they nearly got killed by a diving biplane pilot - an ex GI - paratrooper of the D-Day invasion. What unfolds is a plot of out thinking a crook. This book is also narrated by the club's Guardian Angel - Ole Charlie.
