The author spins a wonderful tale of mystery that transports you into the minds of hero's and villians alike; although you aren't certain until the end, who is who. As someone who used to supervise a facility for people incompetent to proceed to trial, or guilty by reason of insanity, I especially enjoyed the picture Barbara Fournier painted of a person suffering from mental illness. The book weaves through a number of complex scenarios and emotions in an entertaining fashion that left this reader wondering when the movie is coming out. Popcorn anyone?
