“Politically Corrected” is a novel that deals with the battle for America's soul through the exploits of 9 determined Navy Seals and Special forces veterans. They shut down a human trafficking operation in Cambodia used by the Office of Naval Intelligence to fund black ops without congressional oversight. Corrupt and warring factions within the intelligence community as well as career politicians and social justice warriors all pursue and villainize these 9 men. Then, ill-gotten funds begin to be wired to relief organizations in the rural Appalachians. Large sums are also given to survivors of human trafficking, as well as other humanitarian organizations. These men then become transformed into the archetypal American anti-heroes who serve and speak for the people of America more effectively than the government that claims to represent them. This novel is set in contemporary America, and presents a scathing commentary on the corruption inherent in American politics and the intelligence agencies. The main characters are Master Chief SEAL Salvino Scorzoletti, Operations Specialist Steven Philster, Navy Lieutenant Maxwell Peterson, Naval Electronics Warfare Specialist Jerry Alvarez, ATF agent Gary Bickens, DEA agent Javier Contreras, DEA agent Ariana Carina, FBI agent Derrick Panetta, and US President Neville Courtland. The cast of characters suggests to readers that the definition of hero or villain is fluid, and demonstrates how the love of money and power can corrupt individuals beyond redemption. It serves as a wake-up call that representatives can become rulers, and the people they represent can become the subjugated servants of an elite ruling class.

This is a novel that you will remember because the setting is contemporary America and its theme is politically relevant with regard to the issues we are facing today. The characters are realistic and well crafted for the plot of this story, and it unfolds like something that could or actually did happen with respect to some scenes. What I liked most about this book was how it made you feel you were actually a part of the drama. This book deals with the dark side of human nature and it demonstrates that unabated power for any single person or group of people is a recipe for evil. I thought it was an excellent story from start to finish and would definitely recommend it.

It's a very compelling story that starts strong and just gets stronger and more dramatic as the story unfolds. The grand finale is shocking... you don't want to miss it. The characters are well drawn and 3 dimensional. The story sweeps up today's actual headlines and spits them out in an unexpected way. It's a page-turner!

After a gruesome encounter, while trying to fulfill a depraved sexual fantasy, Salvino Scorzoletti gets to know of an undercover sex operation funded by top government officials. Salvino sets about stopping this operation and channeling all their ill-gotten money to a cause that helps victims of sex trafficking and prostitution. Salvino has stepped on some toes, and some individuals are bent on having their revenge.
Fueled by greed, Gary Bickens seeks out Salvino to make him pay for stopping the sex operation. This sets up a rollercoaster of thrilling events in the book. Sit back and relax as Politically Corrected takes you on an action-packed adventure.
Politically Corrected by Kurt M. DiClementi is a book that has left me singing many praises for it. It is unique and realistic, and its plot is set in modern times, making the story relatable.
One remarkable attribute of Politically Corrected is that each character in the book is unique. Additionally, there is excellent character development, as readers can follow the characters' journeys. Salvino is definite and intentional with his goals. Alvarez is an introvert with a high IQ. Philster is mostly vulgar but still makes his relevance in the scheme of things crystal clear. This blend of unique characters added spice to the book.
On character development, the readers see how events affect the characters, their responsibilities, and their interaction with their environment. In Salvino's case, losing someone gives him the drive to pursue his objectives. We also see Philster and Alvarez, whose personalities are shaped by the unfair treatment they suffer at the hands of the government. It is fascinating to watch each character grow to the point where they play their roles effectively and seamlessly.
There's plenty of action to keep adrenaline pumping throughout the read. Kurt has a way with words that makes each scene come alive. I can picture each scene that involves the use of ammunition, and I get the feeling of being physically present and viewing each scene.
For a voluminous book like this, it is commendable. which shows that the book is well edited. I applaud the editors for doing a good job. I have no issues with Politically Corrected. Therefore, I give it a perfect rating of 4 out of 4 stars. If you are looking for an action-packed book with thrilling scenes, then this book is a must-read for you. The book isn't suitable for younger audiences, as it contains many strong profane words and some acts of violence.
