This is my third foray into the authors work and it won't be my last.

The story was fast paced, gritty, suspenseful and has twists and turns where I least expected them. The character of Reese Daniels has really grown throughout each novella developing a deep sense of emotional growth as well as staying true to his level headed and genuine nature.

Secondly, the additional characters were incredibly well fleshed out and unique in their own individual ways throughout the story. A thoroughly enjoyable read from start to finish.

Received as a review copy from Booksirens, this is an honest review. For Reese Daniels understands that being a renewed smuggler means always ( like or not ) living a life upon the edge of death. After his most recent brush of insanity, Reese has learned himself a companion of Irina Almora that's thrown his world on its head. And a whole lot dangerous as Reese and Irina find themselves getting into situations that would be funny if wasn't for someone wanting either of them dead. The more Reese knows about who those behind the attacks, he wants to protect Irina forces that can easily consume her; in doing so Reese will find himself blind to a reality he never saw coming.

A white knuckled adventure that's beautifully poignant.
