This was such an awesome read. It is short only like 250 pages, but it is all go! It is a heavy story, violent and dark. If you love a good psychological thriller, you will love Super 8. Special thanks to the author for my advanced copy. Still going to buy a paperback for my shelf.

Set in the 70's, this book takes us on a gripping ride as we follow young Emilia as she sets out into the big wide world to become famous, by any means necessary. Women want to be her and men adore her.

This novel is gritty and dark and is not for the faint of heart. This is not a story with a happy ending, well maybe it is, it depends on which definition we're using here... Yeah, I said it. Truthfully, although the backdrop is the 70's porn industry, the spicy parts are pretty mild. The violence, less so.

If you're looking for a gripping, soul wrenching, chilling, murderous, passionate thriller with a love story (or two) molded in, then this book is for you. Entirely unputdownable.
