D. Alexander, author

"The Fall of Free Will begins at sundown. The Generals of Destiny will rise at the height of the Winter Solstice. Come, King of Free Will, to the place where you allowed true love to perish and bear witness to the end of Free Will.”

Danny Elikai is a teenage boy who lost his family in a devastating car accident. He finds himself in a swirling depression in the mystical city of Grenoff as horrific events begin to unfold. He learns of an ancient conflict between the two philosophies that seek to rule humanity: the individual liberties of Free Will and the predetermined peace guaranteed by Destiny. The agents of Destiny have risen and threatened life as we know it. Danny must choose to find the King of Light and fight for Free Will or leave humanity to the iron grip of the Emperor of Darkness. The Final War is coming, and soon we will need to pick aside. Will you fight for the freedom of choice offered by Free Will or the harmony promised by Destiny?

4 Stars: A wonderful good versus evil fantasy thriller. Fabulous imagery with an action-packed story. The timeline takes quantum leaps that kept me on the edge of my seat. Give it a read, it won’t disappoint. Kudos to the author on this debut novel.

1 Star: The author of this book was at a bazaar where he told me "if you liked Narnia, you'll love this book"... He was so wrong! this is NOT a christian allegory, in fact it is more new age mysticism if anything, not Biblical at all! It is very graphically gory, and I would not recommend this book to anyone under the age of 16. Although well written, I did not enjoy this book at all, and would not recommend it to any one who might have gotten the impression that this book is a Christian fantasy. And if the author is reading this review, please no longer compare it to Narnia, a book that is a children's Christian fantasy, your book is not at all in the same category. I do not regret helping support a talented local author, but I do not recommend this book. If you like supernatural thrillers you will enjoy this book, but I do not, I repeat do NOT recommend it for Christian readers.
