The story is inspired by Albert Camus's "The Plague" George Orwell's "1984" also the movie "Threads." The novel follows the story of James Greg through his late teen years and into early adulthood. He experiments with the occult and rebels against his family drinking with friends. The story takes a twist when he wonders whether all that is happening in the world is because of the spells he cast.
