I read this book in 2 days and did the meditations as I went along. The author's experience is compelling and her greatest gift is to share that spiritual truth can come without attached emotions.
For people who grow up conservatively religious there can be a tendancy to rely on fearful emotions for compliance, whereas this author's story shows a life through love and joy.
In the author's near death experience she is given choices. Every choice is a perfect choice. She was shown various life paths for her family based on these choices, but without emotion and without guilt. She knew she would be loved no matter what.
I'm very grateful this author shared her life changing story.
Ellen does a wonderful job outlining her journey and what she's learned along the way. I felt captivated immediately to her words and the message. I brought the book to read on a long trip and couldn't put it down. Read it all at once. This book leaves you inspired to find your path, connect with your higher self and live a life with love and purpose.
Such an inspirational story about a young girl's near-death experience and how it changed her life for the better. So well written; it's hard to put down!! Ellen takes you through her journey into adulthood, including her struggles as she learns to embrace her newfound life's mission as well as guidance and messages from the other side, ultimately finding the love and happiness she deserves. She shares techniques on meditation, journaling, reflection and simply being grateful -- to help the reader find their own inner peace. Love this and highly recommend!!
