Bermuda in Painted Representation: A survey of how (and by whom) the island has been depicted in art
Jonathan Land Evans, author
The book is a detailed chronological art history of the island of Bermuda, encompassing the huge number of artists (from the famous to the obscure) who have known Bermuda's charms, and noting or discussing many of their artworks. It extends from the earliest days of English settlement up to about the end of the 20th Century. The hefty 672-page hardback (available exclusively via the Lulu.com on-line bookstore) is an updated, expanded and consolidated single-volume edition of the original three volumes of the trilogy, which were published in very small not-for-sale editions (chiefly for giving to libraries) in 2011, 2011 and 2016, respectively.
